trees shed leaves and skies grow clouded,

rocks gain moss and plants have thorns,

seasons change, the sun is shrouded,

’til it’s time to be reborn.

there is much to learn from nature,

lessons about loss and life.

quietly it whispers to us

how to flourish through the strife.
